I recently admit my daughter for infection and fever at Swastham Hospital, and my overall experience was very good. The doctors explained the entire procedure clearly and made sure I was comfortable and confident before the surgery. The operation went smoothly, and the post-operative care was excellent. Nursing staff were supportive ,polite and always available whenever needed. The hospital maintained good hygiene, and the room facilities were comfortable. Recently went there to get my wife Emeset injection iv. What kind of hospital does not allow husband to be with wife during administration of injection? I've been to multiple hospitals but I've never seen this kind of thing happening at other hospital where attendant (person accompanying patient) is not allowed with the patient at all, even though the patient has no clue what needs to be done. Moreover, the staff remains confused about instructions. Sometimes they asked me to get injection syringes, sometimes they asked me to get canula. And then charging for the administration of both canula and injection without letting me know what's happening, while my wife's lying there on bed unaware of what's supposed to happen. There is no transparency at the hospital and I don't trust hospitals which cannot clearly communicate and show transparency in their procedure.
